What happens when the business outgrows you as a product manager?

As consumer needs evolve at rapid pace, coupled with new technology options

Your product shelf life is no longer in years, but in months

As a product manager, you have to keep the innovation wheel turning

And constantly pushing out new or enhanced products

But there are roadblocks to this rush: budget, resources, etc

And the cost of rushing is revisioning and recalls

You are probably not prepared for all of this but this is the reality

So how do you strike a balance between all the moving parts?

A product strategy is one way to bring everything together

It allows you to articulate what’s important to the consumer and align it to your goal

This will reduce stress and product execution fails
